2nd September 2019: ‘Vivekananda Shila Smarak: Ek Bharat Vijayi Bharat’ commences
On the eve of 50th year of Vivekananda Rock Memorial at Kanyakumari, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari commenced a big contact program titled as ‘Ek Bharat Vijayi Bharat’ throughout the nation from 2nd September 2019. Today the All India Team met the President in Rashtrapati Bhavan and the Prime Minister at his residence.
The President was very happy with the name of the program- Ek Bharat Vijayi Bharat! – when Mananeeya Nivedita Didi briefed him about the year long program. He said, the message of Swami Vivekananda of Man Making education is very important. As Swami ji said – ‘be the best in whatever you are doing’ - is to be applied in the life by all. He expressed his desire to visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial at the earliest.Ms Nivedita R. The Prime Minister also was extremely happy with the Mahasamparka work that the Kendra is undertaking for the whole year. The Kendra Adhikaris also told him that the Kendra Adhikaris at State level shall meet all the Governors and the Chief Ministers. With very keen interest he listened to the team and also gave very valuable suggestions as to how effectively the whole Sampark work can be carried out. He advised to use the new communication technology and reach out to the people visiting Vivekananda Rock Memorial. He also asked to prepare a 3 minute film on Vivekananda Rock Memorial which would give message to the people in a very effective manner. He inquired about the work of Vivekananda Kendra and gave his best wishes for the program. His minute observations, urge for excellence and organizational understanding is very inspiring for Vivekananda Kendra. Thus in all enthusiasm the work of ‘Ek Bharat Vijayi Bharat’ would be taken up.
